Lee Pearson is known as one of the most vibrant and electrifying drummers of today. He plays with some of the finest names in music. From Broadway to Jazz, Hip-Hop and R&B, he maintains the classic vocabulary of percussion.
Lee, a Baltimore native, began playing drums at the age of two. His parents Lee Sr. and Judith Pearson bought his first drum set at the age of three.
In addition to recordings, Lee Pearson has toured and performed with Chris Botti, Sting, Spyro Gyra, Mark Gross, Antonio Hart, Mike Stern, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Roy Ayers, Chaka Khan, Hank Jones, James Carter, Kenny Garrett, Roy Hargrove, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, The Cab Calloway Orchestra and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Band. He also participated in a world tour with Savion Glover's four-time Tony Award-winning Broadway show, Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk.
